Tell Your Heart To Beat Again.

Do you ever feel you are not good enough? Are you too busy pleasing others? Are you too concerned about your outward appearance than what's inside?  Are you constantly running around and not taking enough time to focus on your relationship with God?

I admit I sometimes go through these things.  I wish I didn't think about these ridiculous things, but I'm human and you are human, so it's second nature to think such things.

Now, I urge you to listen to the song! (Yes, go ahead and listen to the song ASAP!!!) Don't forget to listen to the lyrics!!!

This song reminds us how quickly we can get back on track with God.  He takes our brokenness and closes that door, so our hearts can beat again.

1 Kings 8:61 says..
But your hearts must be fully committed to the Lord our God, to live by his decrees and obey his commands, as at that time.

2 Corinthians 4:6 says..
For God, who said, "Let light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.

Ephesians 3:17 says..
so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love.

Colossians 3:1 says..
Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God.

Hebrews 10:16 says..
"This is the covenant I will make with them after that time, says the Lord. I will put my laws in the hearts, and I will write them on their minds."

1 John 3:20 says..
For God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything.

These are just a few of many examples where God tells us he has the power to change our hearts to focus on his great love for us.

Dear God,
I thank you for sharing us your love of changing our hearts to focus on you.  You are the encourager and healer of our brokenness.  I pray you can continue to shape our hearts onto you and for us to not worry on how others might portray us.  I pray all these things in your awesome name.  Amen.

Diamonds.

Happy Monday! God is refining us into diamonds.  He is making our stories perfect through his eyes.  Isn't that awesome? Zechariah 9:16 says.. The Lord their God will save them on that day as the flock of his people. They will sparkle in his land like jewels in a crown. It is amazing how much God loves us even though we sin over and over.  We must always remember to forgive our sins.  He is the way and the light of the world. Dear God, I thank you that you see us as perfect diamonds.  I pray you continue to lead us through the dark.  Please be with us as we continue to live our lives for you.  I pray all these things in Your awesome name. Sometimes God Blows My Mind.

Just the other day a sermon appeared on my youtube home screen for the first time ever.  I clicked the video and began watching.  Her name was Heather Lindsey, and I knew nothing about her.  I was a couple minutes in and realized I needed to save it for later.  I kept the tab open until I had enough time to watch the 42 minute sermon.  Tonight was the night I decided to watch it, and man does God place things in your life that you need to hear.  I have typed out my notes that I jotted down during the sermon, and I will link the video below.  If you need a Jesus pick-me-up, then please do not hesitate to watch this sermon.  It is truly amazing to see God work through this message.
