Good Evening!!!
Hello my name is Allison, and I have challenged myself to write a daily blog. I hope some of you take the short amount of time with me to reflect on God's great love for us.
Today, I met a special friend at Starbucks. We get together every Wednesday afternoon for coffee and take time to grow in our faith by reading our Bibles. I was reading the book of Hebrews and journaling when I got the idea that my thoughts might also encourage others to continue to grow in their faith as well. What better way to do this than start a blog, right?
Well, here goes blog post # 1
I admit I occasionally struggle with how much God truly loves me. It is difficult to fathom how much love He has for every single one of us. Even with this battle, God has known me before I ever existed on Earth. He knows exactly what my future entails. He knows my tomorrow, my life five years from now, my life twenty-five years from now, and the time I get to meet Him face to face. It is so amazing to understand that we will one day have the joy of being completely free of sin when we go to heaven.
With this being said..here are some verses from Hebrews that stood out to me doing my reading today.
4:16
Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
6:10
God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.
7:25
Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.
9:28
so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.
These verses are a constant reminder how much we are loved everyday. We have a purpose in life to live for God and not for anyone else. He is my number one in life, what about you? If not, then I challenge you to continue to read my blog in the hope through God's words spoken from me you will be encouraged to have that same desire.
Dear God,
I thank you for showing me Your great love and grace. Even though it is not always the easiest, I continue to put my trust in you. I know Your path of life for me is much greater than the one I could ever give myself. I pray Your light continues to shine through me. Give me the strength to stand firm in You and show your love in everything I do. I pray all these things in Your awesome name. Amen.

Allison, this is SO encouraging! Not only is it a wonderful spiritual devotional, but it's also so inspiring to see your faith and witness shine so brightly. I'm so proud to know you and to see you growing in the Lord and into a strong, faithful, woman of God. Thank you for sharing your faith and these encouraging verses from God's Word with the rest of us!
