Touch The Sky.

It has been a week since I started my blog.  Can you believe it?

Sometimes it is hard to be strong in your faith.  Some people (non-religious people) do not understand that us (Christians) go through struggles everyday.  We have good days, but we also have bad days.  But it is God by our side that makes it easier to get through difficult situations.

1 Peter 4: 12-19 says..
Dear friends, do not be surprised at the painful trial you are suffering, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice that you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed. If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you. If you suffer, it should not be as a murderer or thief or any other kind of criminal, or even as a meddler. However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name. For it is time for judgment to begin with the family of God; and if it begin with the family of God; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God? And, "If it is hard for the righteous to be saved, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner?" So then, those who suffer according to God's will should commit themselves to their faithful Creator and continue to do good.

We should be proud of our Christians beliefs.  We must stand tall and be strong no matter what may come our way.  It is God who keeps our heads held high.

Dear God,
I thank you for sticking by our sides through thick and thin.  It is because of you that we can be confident in all that we do.  I pray we continue to feel your love and support as we continue our journey here on Earth.  I pray all these things in Your awesome name.  Amen.
